New, V4 Advanced WiFi Transmitters
VersaTrak Wi-Fi New V4 transmitters come with new advanced technologies. They are battery-powered with additional line power. The line power will extend battery life up to ten years, where the battery acts as an “emergency” in the event of a power outage to assure no data loss. V4 units feature an “energy-saver” onboard clock that controls the cycling to a low-power, quiescent state when not sampling. At user-determined intervals, sensors “wake up,” sample temperature, and forward the sample to VersaTrak’s software system.
Different from many other wireless systems, VersaTrak acknowledges the receipt of temperature data from each sensor. If no acknowledgement is received, sensors automatically store and can resend data at the next transmission cycle. The store-and-resend feature protects against lost data and continues to operate until all data has been received and acknowledged. This capacity keeps data safe within the system, even during losses of power or communications.
A Self-Supervised System
VersaTrak sends a “Missed Communication” alert to designated user personnel any time a component of the system fails to submit a routinely scheduled reporting packet. VersaTrak Wi-Fi transmitters are equipped with both audible and visible alerting capacity to assure that no alarms will be missed. All batteries are monitored, and any “weak” batteries are reported before failure occurs, thus eliminating the possibility of lost data due to battery failure.
All VersaTrak Wi-Fi V4 temperature transmitters come with built-in ANC that can be enabled at any time with the purchase of an ANC license.
